I recently purchased this video kit for my team to use as a desktop camcorder mount. It worked great for one of my friends tonight! One of the hardest things about small stage productions is that there is very little space for regular tripods, so being able to control the camera on a table or other small surface really makes a difference. So far this mounting head has worked well with a small VCR and Black Magic case. Be sure to adjust the tightening of the Z bracket according to the weight of the camera.
