To be honest I was shocked
Glue works very well. Make sure you're in the right position before you press it, because once you press it, you're done. My son even got caught by the ring holder shaking my phone and still hasn't come off. I tried to remove it on purpose and my phone case breaks in front of the ring holder. This is a good buy. I kept the silver because it matched my case and gave the other to a friend because her case is rose gold.
