Review on FJC 2850 Digital Scale by Jonathan Robertson

I borrowed a snap on scale from a friend until I bought this FJC electronic scale. I found the FJC scale much easier to use and read than the snap-on scale. I like how the scale performs a self-calibration every time it is turned on. The numbers on the keypad are big and bright. You can use the scale in two ways when adding refrigerant from a 30-pound bottle. You can place the cylinder on the scale and press zero and the scale will reset so you can enter the exact amount. Or you can put a 30-pound tank on the scale, take a reading, and then subtract the required amount of refrigerant. You then inject the refrigerant at the desired rate, after calculating the correct amount for the 30-pound cylinder. Great scale for the price.
