I threw a lot of money into worthless antennas, so I'm back to the tried and true: rabbit ears. This antenna works well. The channels I'm not getting clear are probably location related rather than antenna errors. I'm also wondering if the TV tuner plays a role in the quality of channel reception. For example, the small TV that uses this antenna is the Sylvania, which I bought for about $100. My big TV with the best reception is the Sony Bravia, which costs about 10 times as much. TV quality has to enter the equation somewhere. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. The item is small and can be easily hidden behind the TV when not in use.
