I didn't expect too much from this when I ordered it. I expected it to have more of a cheap feel since this brand is unknown and generic to me. To my surprise it is actually a great tool.Has a nice heft to it. Handle area is rubber coated for good grip and comfort as well as protecting the body of the tool. Upper part is hard durable plastic like you expect from any good brand tool. There is nothing about it that feels cheap or low quality at all.Power is as good as you can expect from a 12v tool. It performs very well for its class and voltage. A cordless ratchet is something you may not typically thing of adding to your tool kit for home use, until you have the daunting task of having to use a manual ratchet to repair something. This cordless power ratchet is a welcome addition to my home tool set. A 20v version would be more sufficient for heavier or commercial use.Now that I've experience this ratchet from this brand, I won't shy away from Eastvolt in the future. Seems to be a very well made tool, on par with other well known brands.
