Review on 🚰 Miniwell Portable Gravity Water Purifier Straw: Lightweight and Compact for Group Camping and Family Emergency Preparedness by Tony Reid

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm not dead! in water filters

I have to admit that I am skeptical about using water filters that are not from reputable companies whose filters are well tested and have received high ratings. But I decided to try this mini fountain. Short story: Yesterday, on a short hike, I used this mini fountain to filter water from a stream. I drank more than a little! It tasted good, and again today I'm not sick at all. This miniwell filter is actually included as shown in the Revain photos. It wrapped right around my Smartwater bottle. I had to push a little to get the water out, but it wasn't too bad. This mini-well doesn't come with a bag, tubing or anything (compared to my Sawyer filter which comes with quite a few accessories). I took off a star because there was nothing superfluous. Overall the filter works - I've used it to filter river water with no side effects. However, before you buy this one, you should look at a well-known brand and compare prices and accessories. NOTE: The filter is only suitable for approximately 250 gallons. Some Sawyer filters can be used much longer. for your information.

Pros
  • Versatile design: three uses. The practical water filter can be connected to a drinking chamber or drinking bottle with a 28 mm thread. Or use it like a straw. It is convenient for you to drink pure filtered water when camping, hiking, trekking, canoeing or in case of emergency.
Cons
  • Low Reparability
