When I was looking for a case I was looking for my new iPad Pro (12.9" 5th Gen 2021) I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to use it in bed. I write a lot in bed at night when it's quiet, so that was a critical aspect for me. I had to use it on a pillow and not slip and slide. I already paid $350 plus shipping for the latest Apple Magic Keyboard, thinking it would at least be safe. (True, but it's also very heavy) This ZUGU case is worth every penny, and it's the first time the ads haven't oversold anything. The magnets are very strong. Each slot in the angle adjustment platform is secured with powerful magnets. It never slides from one to another and collapses. The Apple Pencil 2 fits securely on the screen, charges quickly and connects via Bluetooth. When not charging, it slips into a snuggly case on the back. It's very safe there, and moving with all the traveling I've done since I got this case, all the packing and unpacking, and even dropping my entire iPad on the floor and almost having a heart attack this pen does not. And my iPad was not damaged. In the photos you can see the sides, the slots on the adjustment platform, the front of the case and the tightness of the frame (and that very review page I'm posting right now), the back, front and sides in the closed state, on magnets hanging on the door of my closet, a non-slip screen base/cover with a mask sticking to it, and an alternative way of using a stand. My apologies for the background as this was all filmed in my bedroom to emphasize that it stays in place even on unstable surfaces like pillows. I really love this shop! Together with the Samsers foldable ergonomic Bluetooth keyboard, this setup is perfect! As big as my new iPad is, I was also concerned that any case would make it bigger and more cumbersome to carry. This ZUGU case is thin and durable, and its surface is comfortable to grip yet smooth. It's easy to hold. So easy I forgot how big this iPad was until I picked up my old 9.7 inch iPad 6. The one with the case is actually heavier than this one. I wish I had the magic keyboard back. I opened the box, installed my iPad on it, made sure it was plugged in and working and put it in the case, then put it back in the box and tried this case out with a bluetooth keyboard. I never touched the Apple Magic Keyboard again.
