This little blender is perfect for those on the go who want to supplement throughout the day. The included mixing container gives you the ability to store powder separately from your chosen liquid and features built-in cutouts to allow a person to drink while the container remains intact. You don't have to unscrew the cap and take out the capsule every time when you want to drink water, juice, milk, etc. Sorry, don't look there. Although blender blades are durable, they are made entirely of plastic. While they offer great cyclonic action for thoroughly mixing your powders, they break very easily when forced to do anything other than mixing liquids. The charging dock lets you charge your phone or other device (AirPods) on the go when you're low on energy and getting ready to hit the gym. Plug in your device and let it charge while you put on your workout clothes and you'll get enough charge to listen to music or use the tracker app during your workout. Cleaning is very simple, pour some water into the cup, some dish soap and run the blender for about a minute to clean the cup, blades and top. The mug and pod are dishwasher safe, but don't forget to remove the base before you do this or you'll end up with a regular mug with those little teeth on the bottom when the rinse cycle is over. The only downside I can single out about this mixing bowl is how dark the plastic actually is. Despite the really good color and contrast, the markings on the side of the mug are very difficult to read when you're pouring clear liquids. Many times I've struggled to drink my 14 ounces of water, which is essential to my pre-workout regimen, and I sit looking like a mad scientist peering into the cup to find the right amount of liquid. However, opaque liquids are seen with ease, so you'll have no problem having my milk at all with your protein shake junkies. All in all, for the money, this is the little mixing bowl that was in my bad job and duffel bag every day. I don't think you will be disappointed with it.
