recently changed from Nikon. After some research I decided on this one because I had 3 sets of Eneloop batteries and would like to use them and save some money. TTL works great. If the TTL starts to fluctuate or the flash doesn't fire, it means the battery is almost empty. I think I got an average of 400-500 shots on a set of medium wattage TTL batteries. The build quality is incredible. All knobs and controls look like a Nikon or Canon flash. The only criticism is the head. It doesn't switch/rotate 360Β° like my previous YN.
