The OEM GM part fits and works perfectly, but you can look for lower mechanical repair rates.

OEM GM part fits perfectly and works perfectly. Cleared the DTC P0409 and learned not to "top off" my gas tank because if gas is flowing through the breather tube into the valve (when that Gas Pump will stop filling, simply round up to the nearest dollar and stop. Do not continue filling until the bottle is full). It takes 3.5 man-hours to drop the back of the car to get to this part, which sits on a metal tab above the rear pumpkin (GM Engineering gets a gold star for that stupid spot and source of income for dealers). I was lucky enough to take my car to a tire shop and they hired two people and only charged me $280 for the labor and I provided the part. They tried to get to the valve under the car with skinny arms, but it's held in place by a plastic spring clip on a metal bar, making it too difficult to remove, so they dropped the rear bottom bracket, like the GM -Book says replaced the part in 1 minute (because you can easily remove the clip) and put the rear bottom bracket back on the machine. After that, you don't need a 4-wheel survey either, so don't let anyone talk you into it. Good luck, get a job, there aren't very many screws, just big, hard and stupidly time-consuming work.

Cons
