Review on 🐠 Aqueon LED MiniBow Kit featuring Advanced SmartClean Technology by Kim Bell

I have chosen to ignore some of the negative reviews as my daughter Beta 'Seashell' is used to living and thriving in a filter tank. The light in the tanks went out, and instead of replacing the lantern, I thought it would be more profitable to buy a new tank. I liked that changing the water was simplified and seemed much more efficient. When moving the "bowl" to her new aquarium, we did everything the instructions recommended. I put some decor under the filter to keep the fish from getting too close. About 2 hours after giving the fish free access to the aquarium, I saw that it was hiding deep in the corner of the previously used sink/shelter. It took me a while to find her as she had never used that room/corner before. In hindsight, I can only assume that this was done to avoid getting stuck in the filter. A few hours later I saw them stuck in gravel and coral. This had never happened before but it was a busy day and I sadly wrote it off as an unusual event. Soon I could tell that something was very strange. The fish could no longer swim to the surface to forage and were observed depositing a lung at the bottom of the tank. She died soon after, and I had a heartbroken (yes, I know the First World problem) six-year-old daughter. I wish I had bought a different tank. We used the same water and gravel as the other tank. Nothing has changed - only the physical tank. I know it's just a fish, but I can't help but think that this manufacturer should be aware of the problems associated with the filter. Why not study more closely? This is incredibly discouraging considering there are many reviews linking filter and fish kills. In any case, be aware that there is definitely something wrong with this product.
