Very good hair dryer at a reasonable price. Heats up quickly and has multiple attachments. There are 2 speeds which seem to be sufficient for most drying tasks. There are 3 temperatures - low, medium and high. The dryer heats up fairly quickly and provides good heat distribution throughout the flow. At the two higher speeds, a red light comes on in the dryer, which I believe indicates infrared heating. At the lowest heat level, the red light is off. The cold shot button basically turns off the heat by holding it down to cool the hair, although it takes some time for the heat to dissipate. According to the product description, this hair dryer generates negative ions and improves airflow with argan oil and keratin. . They don't really explain how this happens, but the net effect is to eliminate static and frizz and leave hair perfectly shiny. As there is no real explanation I don't know all of this but it dries my hair well. The instructions are quite simple and don't even mention the heating temperature. Overall, the motor is powerful, the heat is strong, and there are tons of accessories (2 combs, 2 concentrators, and 1 diffuser) if you need them. Removable filter and hanging hook are well thought-out features. Decent dryer - decent price.
