Review on Mephisto Edlef Hazelnut Leather Loafer: Classy Men's Slip-On Shoe by Bobby Washburn

Humans have been making shoes for hundreds of thousands of years. This is the best shoe ever made. These are the best shoes I have ever worn and I must add that I am 49 years old and have worn many shoes. These shoes are more comfortable than my tennis shoes. I started wearing them around the house because they are more comfortable than my moccasins. pants and a black shirt. The problem is that black shoes that can be polished are usually uncomfortable. I bought a pair of seemingly decent black Bruno Mars shoes for about $60 from Revain. After a few days of trial insoles, slight chafing in the toe area caused blisters to form within days of being on my feet all day. Shoes can be worn for a few hours without pain, but not all day. These loafers also look good with dark jeans and barefoot. Simply great looking loafers. I have a pair of Mephistos that I bought 26 years ago, brown lace-up shoes that have served me well over the years. So I was willing to spend $320 on moccasins. The Mephistors I bought 26 years ago are in great condition, the shoes are undamaged from decades of wear and they are extremely comfortable, but these loafers are perhaps a little more comfortable as they fit snugly like slippers. Mephisto is a great company. and it's a great concept to start with comfort first and then add design to the comfort. I can't say enough good things. They're not cheap, but I don't think they're very expensive either. You can't appreciate the lack of leg pain and comfort. ok i'm done The best shoes ever made.
