After months of living with super dried thick calluses on my feet from the winter. Well, these knives gave me my legs back. They are technically known in China as Yang-zhou pedicure knives (you can find some info and demos on Youtube). I've lost the patience to clean them with a foot file. The rasp scraper for the cheese grater didn't help. The leg "safety razor" didn't work well. My feet needed fresh skin to shine! No amount of foot cream could help my extremely cracked, calloused feet. As a last resort I bought a scrub to remove calluses on my legs but still haven't used it. While the bottoms of your feet may look a little cut open after use, the calluses could be removed with little effort. Somehow these knives find the old callus and can easily remove it. I'm amazed! I feel the ground beneath my feet. That's a weird feeling! Over time I develop a healthy callus that I can handle with these knives. You are sharp. Well built. The sheath and separate sheaths for the knives protect them when not in use. However, you must be careful with them. Use it like a foot file and hold it at an angle parallel to your foot. Apply light pressure. And scratch. And don't scratch too much, you might bleed. So just a word of caution. Walk slowly, don't rush. But they work! This is a great purchase! Compared to buying foot scrubs over time for each use. You get it for the price of a peel and you can reuse it. Thanks very much! (PS, I never write a review unless I think it's worth writing.
