Review on TuffRider Ribbed Knee Patch Breeches for Women (Regular Fit) by Michael Sharp

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Strange color and Velcro on the bottom

I read the reviews and questions before ordering so I expected to be surprised/disappointed when I received this product. I ordered anthracite, but it looks more like grey-green. I'm also used to pants made of this fabric, but I don't remember noticing them while walking. The fabric will rub against each other if you don't have a clean and crisp crevice between your thighs, which of course is a good thing, but it takes some time to get used to the feel. Once you're in the saddle, you probably won't feel it anyway. Next, the pants have velcro at the bottom, not this sock that looks way better than velcro. I'm used to velcro too, but they're a bit long, so make sure you have enough high and tight socks so they don't get in the way of the velcro. I could have bought a cheaper pair of these but didn't want to risk buying something really crappy. I give this product 4/5 and no less because it seems to be of decent quality and quite comfortable. Probably a bit big (I have a €40 or €31 waist and bought a 32R) (they are stretchy too) but quite comfortable. The patches on the knees are a bit stiff, but that can get better over time.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
