excellent performance on laptops

"Pros" first Excellent screen with good color balance, brightness and contrast. No bright "blood flow" on a dark screen. And - 1080P display - great for videos. Good touch response. With a 4-core i5 processor with Hyper-Threading technology and 8GB of RAM, the computer has fairly fast performance - it can multitask, browse multiple websites and run lots of games - although a laptop cooler is probably recommended. The keyboard feels and moves well - the backlight is a great addition - it has 2 brightness levels. The trackpad works great. Sound from the speakers is pretty good for a laptop of this size - sound through the headphone jack is excellent. The update was successful - no problems. This thing loads in just a few seconds - did I mention it's pretty fast? Full size USB ports, USB-C port, HDMI port, SD port and headphone jack. 256GB solid state drive, but you can use an SD card to expand storage. .Cons: When the card is in the SD port, it sticks out a bit - should be flush. While backlit keys are great, if the keys were dark with lighter lettering it would be even more visible. Finally, there seems to be conflicting information about whether Optane memory is installed (or not), but this computer needs an application to manage Optane. All in all a pretty good computer in this price range and I find it surprisingly powerful.
