This is an enthusiastic review. This camera is amazing. I bought this to replace my point and shoot (which I had to give my daughter to photograph my new granddaughter). Good luck to everyone around. The construction of this chamber is somehow as solid as a rock and as a jewel. I usually shoot with a large DSLR. But in recent urban experience, lugging the D4 and tripod around has been impossible. It fits in a jacket pocket. It's unobtrusive. The perfect hidden camera. Nobody suspects that you are a professional. (Please ignore this line). The ergonomics took some getting used to. The picture quality is sensational. It is equal to my D3X. I printed them in 16x20 and no one can tell which camera I shot with. I'm sure it will hold up to 20x30. Being able to control aperture and exposure compensation directly without going into the menu is superior to anything I've tried. Cons: Well, it's a fixed-lens camera. But I knew that when I bought it. Taking photos was still easier than with my previous compact zoom camera. It's bigger than a shirt pocket - point and shoot. Doesn't fit in a shirt pocket. So that. Fits very well in a sports jacket pocket. I'm not used to the lack of a viewfinder. In bright sunlight it can be difficult to compose. I'm so excited about this little gem that I ordered a viewfinder. Without charger. You connect the camera to the USB port on the wall adapter to charge it. Maybe that's an advantage, but I'm scared of sticking the camera in the wall. I use an extra charger outside the body. Unknown: I don't know the actual battery life yet. I easily took 163 consecutive flash photos, but the battery barely ran out. Bottom line: don't leave home without one. This item will always be in my bag.
