The box this cabinet arrived in was small and heavy. This signals a build experience: it will have many parts and will take quite a long time to build. I was surprised at how many items there were, but they seemed to be made out of decent material for the most part. It took over an hour to assemble, most parts were reasonably well labeled, but there were a few sub-optimal fits and hardware designs. I particularly dislike cheap cast metal anchors/connectors that go into big holes and fit into slotted studs - you know, with a Phillips head that you turn about 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn. away and strains the connection between the two parts. They inevitably create certain problems. In this case a small rod that fits just under the front drawer snapped because the fit was too loose/sloppy and snapped when the screw connection was pulled. In addition, in some places there are too many screws that do not need such reinforcement. The finished part looks nice and works quite well. I got it because it offers a lot of storage space in a small space. I just wish it was designed a little bit better, both in terms of part count and build, as well as strength.
