I bought this mount because it was the same brand as the TV mount I had already installed. I was hoping I could just plug it in without completely removing the TV mount, but no luck. I had to remove the bracket to insert the spacers. Well, it's not her fault. The problem I had was repairing the gun. The arms are attached at one point above and at one point hand to hand, creating a scissor effect. No matter how tight I mount the hardware, the brackets still move quite easily under the weight of the soundbar. This means the soundbar is lower than the TV than I intended. I found a workaround by pulling my shoulder to my forearm. It's not as strong as a rock, but strong enough not to hang down on its own. If he falls again, I can put more shackles on him. This is the only problem I've encountered. I'm not afraid of the soundbar falling or anything like that. Maybe they could make two attachment points to control sag?
