Could be a spare part, but still Chinese scrap. Bought two and installed them on the car when I noticed the trunk had slipped off. Well I took it off to see if I could put it back on. In short, the cuff shouldn't come loose because a locking ring pushes down to hold it in place. It's a good thing they pressed semicircle. The worst part was looking inside the ball joint, it looks like they gave the Chinese a grinder to grind the inside instead of a machine tool. You just have to see it in person to believe it. This is the quality I've seen from acdelco lately. They give that name to other Chinese junk that isn't original parts or designs and call it theirs.
