Sherpa Delta Deluxe Pet Carrier Review Medium & Black

This is a review of the Sherpa Delta Deluxe Medium Pet Bag in Black. First of all I didn't know what to look for other than a rough estimate of the size. We have a chihuahua puppy and we wanted something that could help her with transportation in the car or perhaps when traveling in the future. We were pleasantly surprised by this bag for several reasons. Pros: 1. Probably the best thing about this case is that it is very durable. My pup and her sister love jumping on the bag, but it's sturdy enough to support their combined 10 pounds without falling off. My aunt's suitcase falls apart when you put on a shirt. In addition, our puppy likes to bite the lattice walls. However, the walls survived unscathed. This is very impressive!2. Secondly, there are various privacy options in this case. If you want lots of light or circulation in the bag, roll up the flaps on the two small sides to reveal stronger mesh walls. In addition, the solid wall panel can be fully zipped open, allowing your pet to stick their head out. If you want more privacy or don't want people to know you have a pet, drop the flaps on the sides and zip up the top. It gets so dark that people can't see in from the front, which is made of mesh and doesn't have a closable flap. The back is solid only, no mesh, as is the bottom of course. Other soft shell pet carriers don't have the ability to cover the mesh that many of them have on all four sides. This way people can always see that there is a pet in your suitcase. This delta version can look like a normal duffel bag.3. The third advantage is that the pet can get in and out either through the large zippered top opening or through the small side opening. If we don't take the dog out, this suitcase will remain his "dog kennel" with only one small side open. Our puppy likes to use it as his home.4. The design of the bag is very nice, but I also appreciate the pocket on the front. It has room for an extra puppy pillow and possibly a wet wipe. I also like the two handles to hold it in hand and the shoulder strap. It is well designed and built.5. The sherpa liner is washable and replaceable, which is a must for puppies. It attaches to the bag with velcro very well, but the determined pup will eventually make it rip and tear multiple times. The size is good. Our puppy weighed about 2 kilos. This incident gave her the opportunity to exercise. Now she is closer to 6 pounds and on the way to 10 pounds. It is currently large enough for her to stand and move around a little. Even if she lives up to 10 pounds, she will have enough space. It will likely fit a pet weighing up to 16 pounds. I can't find anything negative about this bag. It would be nice if it also had a large grocery bag. However, this can give the pet more incentive to chew through the wall to get at the food. Anyway, I like this bag the way it is. Overall, I give it 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. It comes highly recommended and I also bought it for my parents who have my pup's sister. They love it too. UPDATE 7/30/2016: The bag is still holding up very well after almost 6 months of daily use. When we don't take it with us, in the car and on weekends, our dog uses it as a kennel to sleep in. My dog weighs around 8.5 kilos and has enough space to turn around and move around in the suitcase. It also fits her 6kg sister when we take her to the vet together in the same stretcher (see attached picture). One of the best buys.
