September 15 update. I just received my replacement bulbs and am having trouble getting them to work. If I connect any of my old lamps to the same ballast they work fine. Either these tubes aren't compatible with my 35 watt ballast, or I have another problem that I haven't been able to fix. Since I don't think it's the lamp at this point, I'll raise my rating to 4 stars until I figure out the problem. Original Review: Aside from an untimely death (luckily I still had my old HID bulb handy), the quality of the bulb looks good. I had no trouble connecting to the Kensun ballast. The brightness is excellent and both have the correct color temperature of 5000K. I may have just cracked even though it showed no signs of death. It just failed to initialize once. I will update my review when I get the replacement unit and have worked with it for a while.
