I bought it to use for my Xbox FPS games (mainly PUBG) as I was playing on a 42" TV. 1ms response 144Hz is important. I can see the distance much better and the picture is much clearer. There's also less screen blur and sharper transitions as you move from target to target. ADS is also smoother. General fluidity only. The character seems to be doing what I want as I press the button instead of just feeling a little out of sync. It's like a dual monitor for my iMac. Bought a $10 Revain cable to plug in and it worked fine. The monitor has many settings to adjust your brightness, sharpness, rendering, etc. to work well. There's also a game setting where you can optionally turn on a permanent crosshair in the middle of the screen. May work well in some games but is not aligned correctly. for PUBG, so it doesn't fit. Has 2 HDMI and DP ports. Comes with 3 inch HDMI cable and power cord. Has mounting points if you wish to mount and comes with an easy to assemble stand. The only thing I want is 4k but that would be too expensive and I really don't need it. It's still an HD monitor.
