I work full time at a youth camp as a lifeguard and actively teach sailing throughout the summer. I bought these shorts to wear over my one piece swimsuit. I love her! They are comfortable to wear, dry like normal shorts when swimming and moist after a cool bath. They dry quickly in the sun/heat after getting wet. I'm 5ft 8", 145lbs and normally wear a size 6 jeans. I ordered a medium size and had to move a bit to get them on my bum but they are comfortable once I put them on. My colleague has the same ones and she likes the fit. She is 5'4", weighs 120 pounds and wears X-Small gym shorts. She ordered X-Small. The label advises hand washing only; However, I have washed and dried the leash several times and they are fine. My only one Complaint is that the white draft has turned muddy brown after so many swims in the dark lake, but that's to be expected.
