splendor. good for trail running

I didn't know what to expect from them and to be honest I ordered them because I'm looking for shoes for my 12 hour shifts that I constantly have to tighten foot. I don't walk "for pleasure" whether it be on trails, rivers, forests or anything else. Power for the people who do it, but I get enough miles just doing my job. They were only delivered 3 days ago and I have not worn them to work yet as I have tried 2 other pairs. BUT I've been wearing them here at home for a few hours and they feel pretty great. The fit is great, they have very little material, the soles are very chunky and extremely grippy. The best part is how they feel on your feet as if they don't even exist. Because the material nestles against the foot, but is still very breathable and light. Your feet aren't in a fortress of leather and unnecessary side pads and stitched-on pads, and the insoles definitely have better cushioning than some of the more expensive shoes I own. My home has hardwood floors and I walk barefoot 99.9% of the time, and my feet usually start to hurt within a few hours of doing housework. Not today Satan. I wore them to chores tonight and they felt so good I really didn't want to take them out. However, I will say that the photos of people wearing socks with them are funny to me. Perhaps they bought a size larger than they normally wear? Because mine don't seem big enough to fit socks. Damn, maybe I'm doing it wrong lol. I've never owned a shoe like this, so I know. Tell you what, I'm glad I have them now! It's getting colder in here so I'm not sure I'll be trying these out for work any time soon, but I'll update when I do.
