Review on 🌱 Vegan Plant-Based Protein Powder Supplement - Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Erythritol-Free, Soy-Free, Dairy-Free Pea Protein for Men and Women by Brandon Roman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good vegan protein blend. A kind of slip. Chocolate flavor could be better.

If you're looking for a decent vegan protein blend, this is the one for you. A 30 gram serving provides 120 calories and 20 grams of protein, which is very acceptable. It contains stevia leaf extract as an alternative sweetener (total sugars aren't listed in the supplement info, I hope it's zero). The chocolate flavor (made from basic cocoa powder and maybe "natural flavors") is good, but as rich as I'd like it to be. When mixed, it looks like "light" chocolate milk. I mixed almond milk with protein powder in a shaker. After vigorous shaking, some clumps were still visible. With good powders, clumping is minimal or non-existent. That's not a problem, but some people don't like powders that don't dissolve easily and completely. I find that even powdered chocolate made specifically for chocolate milk often leaves lumps. So a little clumping of the protein powder doesn't bother me. The product label has the "Designed in the USA” and "GMP” badges. GMP, Good Manufacturing Practice, is important to me because it demonstrates compliance with standards to protect ingredients and processing. That ticks the important box. Overall, vegan protein powder is acceptable, although it didn't blow my mind. It receives a rating of 4 = 4.25 stars.
