Good luck changing the batteries

If you're like me (and you are), read the negative reviews first. Here's the thing, everything is fine until the batteries die. Once that's the case, you'll first need to find some sort of two-pronged tool to remove the battery cover, and then you'll need to find replacement batteries. Order them now. It doesn't have an automatic shut off. While you might get into the habit of closing the lid and thinking it's, oh I don't know, a little switch is going to trip to turn the LEDs off, it's not. I know what you're thinking. "I'm not like THAT guy. I will remember. It has 4.75 stars. THIS guy is a problem!” Yes. I was there. So here's the thing. You will FORGET the LEDs are on and you will FORGET and one day you will look at a 0603 resistor and you WILL NOT be able to. "I will order additional batteries." Now the most interesting thing. Not only do you have to remove the battery cover (you used a kitchen fork didn't you), you also have to replace it. Get ready for the ride. This is a type of ultra-fine metric thread that can only be screwed in with a robot. Oh, you didn't pay attention to the polarity of the battery when the batteries were flying around the kitchen? Have fun!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
