Years ago my son gave me a timer that was almost exactly like this. His company offered them as promotional material and he distributed them to all family members. We all loved her. Some are filthy and dirty, some have been lost, but none of them have ever stopped working (except the one that accidentally broke). These are the loudest timers I have ever heard and the numbers are very legible and never go away. Sometimes I use mine as a backup alarm clock. (I just sleep as many hours as I want.) We all thought we'd never get a timer like this ever again. I was so happy to find it a few years ago and the rest of the family is jealous because mine is new and shiny - and now I have two of these! So I'm getting more of these to give to people for Christmas this year. I hope they never stop making this really functional timer.
