I was trying to use this with my HDMI monitor which also supports touch screens via USB but for some reason this dock didn't work with it. HDMI video worked with it, but not with the touchscreen. I connected the docking station to the PD power supply, but that disappointed me. Especially for the price. The only criticism is the length of the main cable. It's really short! I've tried connecting it to my Surface Go but the dock can't reach the table when plugged in! This seems like a very short-sighted decision, as this short cable limits our choice of how to store the laptop when plugged in. Aside from these two very frustrating issues, everything else works fine. I didn't notice one nice thing. and it doesn't seem to announce that this dock has a port for "BC 1.2". According to Wikipedia, this is a USB port that can deliver up to 5 amps, so max. 25 W. That's a lot for a normal USB port! All in all, if you're happy with a very short USB cable, this docking station might be for you. The USB touchscreen issue may have been an accident for me. I ended up replacing that monitor with a regular larger monitor so I can't fix the issue anymore.
