Looks lighter so far. Only time will tell how well they hold up. I just installed them today so haven't looked at them in the dark yet. I had 2 ceilings. One was too small and the other too big. However, I was able to force a larger one to pass and stay. I noticed a slight flickering when I first turned it on, so we'll see what happens. Just take a look and see if that's what you're looking for. I plan to update this review after some time. I kept all the original lightbulbs just in case. As others have said, they depend on polarity. It should also be noted that the license plate light was prone to shorting out with a slight wobble, but I was able to bend the wires on the bulb in the right place to stop this. I also checked for the reverse and license plate lights shaking and wobbling and they all seemed normal once the wiring issue was fixed. Considering these are cheap headlights, I'm not expecting much at the moment. But it was a cheap way to update the look of my truck. To edit. After a few months of use I found the following. All lights work like new. Light domes and cards even dim properly! To be honest, my only gripe would be the reverse lights. They work, but probably very close to stock, if at all. I've added some new brake and turn signals from the GTR lighting and that back up light in comparison worries me about whether anyone will notice, especially during the day. However, they can be good in another application. Overall I am very happy with what I got for the money!
