I was skeptical because of all the bad reviews of the fork and that it is not the same as the Volvo. But it turns out it wasn't so bad after all! Don't take my advice, but the cutting and splicing wasn't necessary. SURE you can do that, but I figured it would be easier to pop the pin out and plug a new one straight into the original Volvo wiring harness. I used some lube to keep the connector clean, some tape or shrink wrap to prevent the pins from touching, and voila! Pretty happy with the purchase. Only time will tell if they hold up. They look better than the amber case and for the price it's a very good deal. 4 stars just because not 100% plug n play, but the extra step isn't that bad.
