There is a small metal pin that is set and should trigger the amount of product you want to inject. It is poorly constructed and slips out easily, dispensing too much medication. Because of the cost ($36) and the ease with which they were able to fix this issue (LOCKING PIN), I would NOT recommend it. Also, the smallest amount you can install is 5 cu. See I would prefer a 1cc increment. See I have goats.
