why do you need it

Why do you need this thing? I decided to try it on my home stereo first. Then I thought I would NEVER use this with my home stereo. I have a DAC that is light years ahead of this thing. This is not a fair test. So I sat at home and thought why I need this. The obvious scenario is that you have a phone with no headphone jack and your car doesn't have Bluetooth, plug it directly into Aux and the problem is solved. What if your car has bluetooth like mine, you will never need it. Not correct. I happened to be in a U-shaped van and guess what. No bluetooth. No problem, you have a radio, right? Then you drive through the side streets and the radio signal goes out. WTF right? That's where this cable comes to the rescue. For less than the price of a movie ticket, you can listen to your music anywhere. But I digress. Let's talk about this cable. Package. It comes in a sealed plastic bag. Nothing fantastic. The Zooaux branding is visible on the front and back of the bag but is nowhere to be found on the drawstring. Because of this, the cable seems a bit versatile. build quality. The cable is thin, but it's not critical. It has a braid on the outside that gives it durability. I actually appreciate the thin cable as it's less intrusive. sound quality. To be honest, this DAC will not win any awards here. This is a great value cable and you get what you pay for. There is no high-end DAC here, but it works. When paired with U-Haul speakers, this extra cable is a winner as it gets the job done for pennies. Conclusion. Don't even think about using this even with a halfway decent home system. Spend your money and get a custom DAC solution like I did. It's at best paired with other budget devices where it's not the weakest link. hp I used this cable instead of a direct Bluetooth connection on my JBL Charge 3. Bluetooth was clearly better than the cable. If you don't get the interference with Bluetooth connections that happens in urban areas, I wouldn't use it. This cable is a backup plan and it's always good to have one just in case.
