Size Medium pads are too small for my 9 year old girl (50th percentile by weight). But the traps were big enough for me — a 48-year-old male weighing 185 pounds. The knee pads barely covered the knees, the straps could be touched. The elbow pads were the size of a toddler, but the velcro straps fell off her elbow and even down her arm - they weren't adjustable. I cut off two inches and reattached the velcro so they fit snug enough. The wrist guard fits well but is very thin. They can help with a broken hand, but they won't help prevent a broken wrist. It really looks like they took the smaller pads and put longer straps on top. They were too small when my 12 year old tried them. No way can they fit a 15 year old as advertised.
