I really enjoy using charcoal toothpaste from time to time for its added cleaning properties. This is a typical black charcoal toothpaste but I find it a bit thinner and thicker. I like the texture. Taste is ok. Not gourmet, but not disgusting either. It just tastes clean and I can tell it has charcoal in it, although I'm not exactly sure how much, although it's black because the charcoal flavor isn't that strong. If you're one of those people who want the benefits of charcoal toothpaste but don't like the taste, you might prefer this paste. I find it cleans my teeth well. They always look clean and shiny afterwards. Unlike some charcoal toothpastes, this one has a slightly less abrasive feel, which is a little safer for your enamel. The only downside is that I don't think it does anything for breathing. You must continue to use a good mouthwash or other oral care product to freshen your breath. In my experience, that just doesn't work. Use it to clean and then something else to refresh.
