Not excellent but close

They're not the best, but they don't cost as much as if they were the best either. The sound quality is not 100% but I would say it's in the 90's. I don't like anything about my ears but they came with a few different pads or whatever you call them to attach whatever part you put in. into the ear. In general they are very good bang for the buck.
