I bought four of these fuse holders to replace leaking fuse holders on my boat battery charger. I run my boat in salt water a few times a year and leaking fuse holders have lasted over 3 years before corroding to the point of failure. It's a great design, with a hole in the lid so you can attach it to a frame or bulkhead with a screw, or like me, just use zip ties to attach it to other points in my battery bays. The fuse holder fits into a double sealed cap that seems sure to be waterproof and snaps securely into place. I received the marine grade Ancor fuses and lubricated the tabs with dielectric grease when I installed them. I am very satisfied with both the mount and the fuses. I look forward to never having to replace them. (I have used waterproof heat shrink butt connectors with hot melt and have never had a single failure with proper crimping and heat treating.)
