One of my problems is not drinking enough water. I kept telling myself I would refill my 40 ounce glass 2-3 times a day, but I never did. Now that I'm a new mom and thinking about breastfeeding, I really needed to break this bad habit of not drinking enough. As if I knew I needed to drink more to keep my milk production going, but unfortunately that alone couldn't fight my drinking laziness. So I bought it to force myself to drink more. Surprisingly it worked! Time and motivating words on the side really help. And I love that there are two different spout options. I liked the open mouth option better than the straw option because I drank faster/more. Also, I think it's easier to clean than a straw in general. Tech Points: The dimensions on the page are in milliliters, not ounces. (So American of me wishing he had both lol). I like that it's matte/matte instead of smooth/glossy. Doesn't slide that much. In addition, finger protrusions make it easier to hold. I think it's better for right-handers than left-handers because the mouth opens when the lid is tight. I brought this pitcher to my friend's pool party in the square and everyone thought it was so cool. I think they were immediately captured by the colors (orange to green gradient). Looks more turquoise with filled water but this color is my favorite so I'm happy. Just a tip to keep this in mind with a Christmas present like a white elephant/piñata. When the season starts, I always struggle to think of a useful/desirable gift. I see how this issue is being fought for.
