Review on ๐Ÿคฟ Enhanced Scubapro GO Sport Diving Fins by Matt Chirila

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great fins for travel or everyday use.

I am an avid diver in the Pacific Northwest and like to have a full kit in my truck for more spontaneous dives as the kit is always available and not always used, preferring to be smaller, lighter and more compact than my main gear. I carried around some heavier, longer fins and bought these to replace as they fit in my gear bag instead of clipping to it. This was my intended use for these fins but after diving into them they have now become my main fins. They replaced a set of F1 fins from a well-known dive brand, which I also really liked, as well as an elastic heel strap - a luxury I'll never part with and if you haven't tried it, I can. can't recommend enough! These fins are amazingly comfortable and lightweight, with a LITTLE positive buoyancy characteristic. (If you release them underwater they will float, but very slowly.) I usually dive with a thick wetsuit, not a dry suit, and I prefer these fins for wetsuit diving. (In a drysuit, I still prefer the more negative fins.) They work equally well with both flapper and frog fins, and I've found that while they're a bit less powerful than some of my longer, stiffer fins, I usually prefer them the more compact. a blade that the Scubapro GO SPORT offers as they are easier to maneuver in tight spaces and overhead and the difference in power sacrificed is minimal. My only complaint is a personal one: when packing and unpacking, I've gotten used to stuffing my small accessories like backup lights and computers into the fin leg pockets to protect them from accidental activation. This is not possible with them as the leg pocket has an open top and your expensive gear will just fall out. Not a design flaw by any means, just something to keep in mind when tweaking fins.
