This Bose soundbar was a big disappointment for me. Yes, the sound quality is good and significantly better than TV speakers. The sound is clear. I don't have to strain to hear what people are saying, nor do I have to worry about background noise and music making me deaf. But the setup was really annoying and I'm still having issues. Ever since I installed this soundbar, I wake up in the middle of the night in the living room with the TV on and it's playing something on Netflix. At first it scared me, I thought I was being followed haha. But it turns out it's a soundbar that turns on the TV thanks to a setting that turns on the TV and speaker when sound is detected. Also, I often have to turn it off to reset the wifi connection. The instruction manual is terrible too. I have many other random problems with this thing, but there isn't much help in the literature that came in the box or on the website. Also, controlling the volume with a tiny, flimsy Bose remote and then switching my Roku shows to another one annoys me. It's also quite large and takes up a lot of space on my TV stand. Alexa is also hit or miss. I yell at Alexa more times than she actually answers. In fact, it only worked for me 3 times, and then only when my TV was on. Very frustrating. I hope Bose can update this speaker one day and that will help reduce the technical issues I'm having otherwise I really like the sound quality.
