Review on πŸš— Maxracing 2-inch Front End Leveling Kit for Avalanche Silverado Suburban 1500 Tahoe Sierra Yukon XL1500 by Alex Tellekson

This alignment kit did not raise my 2018 Z71 Silverado 2 inches

This product did not raise my 2018 1500 Z71 Silverado the full 2 inches as advertised. The front of my truck is only 1 9/16 inches higher than the original. I never wanted my truck to be level, or in some cases I see the front higher than the back with the 2 1/2" kits some of my friends have installed, but I really wanted a full 2" Front lift. A full 2 inch lift would "leave" the front about 1/2 inch below the back, which I think would be perfect. In general, I was satisfied with the product itself. My truck looks much better, it just doesn't meet the advertised specs. The shim is only 1 inch thick, it probably needs to be 1 1/4 to get a full 2 inch rise. I asked my mechanic to install the kit because I just didn't have the time and wanted to do it now. My mechanic also made a tool that forces the shock/strut away from the forearm so you can easily install the spacer without disassembling everything, including the ball joint. It took no more than an hour to build both sides and then align the frontend for me as well. Again, I was overall happy with the product.
