I have a smaller head and an extra Velcro strap. gets caught in your hair and pulls it out or irritates your scalp. I have to cut them off and sew up the end. It should have a hole so more can be put in. It protected my head from several well-placed punches that would have been bloody if I wasn't wearing it.
