Much more than you need
Good for sealing a lid, but one roll will do more than one lid. The rope is too thick to fit in the seal. It's like rope sealant, so you can "roll" it thinner. I sealed 2 lids and didn't even use half of a roll. I wish I had known that before ordering 2 rolls.
