Great fit. Very strong hold when you tighten it tight. Note that the CD slot has more travel than you might think at first glance, but once you've locked it, it's not going anywhere! I have a large phone in a case (Pixel 2XL) and even when I laid it horizontally for navigation, it still didn't move an inch. After everything is firmly installed, it's a very secure mount, SAFE! I really want to talk about the convenience factor. The fact that there is enough room in the bottom two prongs, even for my short USB-C cable, is incredible. Many of these mounts don't have enough room for a large cable, or they simply don't allow cables at all. I think this is because I have a metal plate on the back of the case for a magnetic mount, so the handle doesn't provide a perfect grip.
