The VA panel is bad. No OD setting in OSD, OSD is just bad. No gamma adjustment. manual is missing

Review Update: Addressing a 120/144Hz issue that has been resolved. The problem was in WINDOWS. For some reason you have to toggle 144Hz in WINDOWS and not in the NVIDIA Control Panel to make it work. OD also works correctly now, but still lags behind in GTG's response. It just looks a little better now. When I think about it, the manual really sucks because it doesn't really explain anything. Colors are still difficult to correct in WINDOWS. My point about the lack of gamma control in the OSD REALLY sucks, and the color calibration in WINDOWS sucks even more. The star rating is still 2. First, the VA panel is bad. The color is really bad. No gamma adjustments, good luck getting good colors. TN reproduces colors better than this VA panel. Second, the OSD is very bad. The controls are not easy and have very basic settings and again NO gamma and OD settings. Third, I have a monitor that gets stuck at 120Hz, but that was fixed in the WINDOWS settings (not the NVIDIA Control Panel), but VIOTEK CSR should have told me about it and their manual doesn't explain anything, so my score didn't ' I've changed. Fourth, the response time is BAD. That says 4ms with that mythical OD mode the OSD doesn't have (I found OD works in NVIDIA controls now but the response time still sucks but at least it looks a bit better now). More like 15-20ms. Fifth, the promotional images show the image "FROM EDGE to EDGE”, but this is FALSE. There's a 1/4" black bezel, so obviously they're cheating on promotions. On their big panels like 32" it's not really a big deal, but on 24" it really sucks. The only good thing about this monitor is the price. and sharpness. It's an entry-level model and the resolution is good for its size. 144Hz is great and ok for a second monitor so I bought it. The VESA mount is good and the weight and thickness are very good. The corners are good too and I don't have any dead pixels. GSYNC and FREESYNC work, but the response time makes playing on this one bad for FPS. Normal operation, it's ok if you get the colors right. I better recommend TN or IPS panel if that's the best VA can do for gaming. This VA panel might look good on paper, but it really isn't. Not for games. If you want great gaming, save up and get the GN32DR. This is amazing stuff.
