I purchased these bolts to mount my Silverado 5.3L LM7 Vortec (LS) engine to a Chevy 4.3 NV3500 manual transmission C10. I want everyone to know that these bolts are NOT LONGER than the bolts used for the flex plate in an automatic transmission. Because the flywheel is much thicker than the flexible plate; 3/8" compared to 1/8" you have 1/4" less thread engagement. That's 33.33% less thread engagement! Personally I think 1/2" is enough so I'll go with that Proceed replacing at your own risk, I just want to warn people that these bolts are not longer and will not balance the flywheel properly. The seller must clearly indicate the length in the advertisement. Total bolt length: 1 1/4 inches. Thread Section: 7/8. "
