Nice wall shelf at a reasonable price

I ordered this shelf to place above and beside my wall mounted TV in my bedroom for a DirecTV receiver. It's very easy to understand how it fits together even without a manual. The mechanism of the adjustable shelf bracket felt cheap at first as it allowed some play which caused the shelf to rotate a bit, but in the end it was ok once you really tightened the two hex set screws (it's a good idea to make these hex bolts, not slotted). or with a Philips head). It also allows you to fine tune the height of the shelf after installation, so that may have been intentional when this was designed. Installing the spine wall mount was fairly easy/straight. I thought the included mounting screws (#8x2"L Phillips) were a bit too small for attaching the studs as it might be better to use #10 screws, but that's just my opinion. They provide plastic anchors for the hollow ones Walls, but I'd be wary of relying on using them unless you're certain what you're putting on a shelf is less than the £17 estimate they're giving specify for this shelf Align the glass shelf. Also note that the spine wall mount was short (8") so there really is no way to 'handle' most of the cables in such a short rail. Unit is debatable. They have simply used the same rails and plastic wire fingers from longer devices and cut them shorter. Although this isn't a dig at all. So this device provides an inexpensive way to mount the electronics you need on the wall v astound. I was satisfied. I would recommend this device :)
