I bought this to convert my "009" point dispenser into an air-cooled VW bus. The kit includes four or five different optical wheels, as well as various mounts and attachments for a variety of manifolds. Unfortunately I only needed a few of these parts (but apparently I paid for all the others which went straight to the trash). Another problem with this thing designed to work with a large number of distributors is that it might not work perfectly for a specific one. Initially I found it very difficult to slide the optics wheel onto the distributor shaft - even with lube. I was afraid that I would break or deform the little plastic thing. When I finally squeezed hard enough, it slid all the way down and I couldn't get it back up. I ended up having to disassemble the distributor to try again. A further complication is that the optical sensor does not fit after the wheel has been installed, i.e. it has to be driven down with the wheel. In fact, there really isn't enough room for the sensor. I had to grind about an eighth of an inch of the wheel circumference so it wouldn't rub against the sensor mounting bolt. I also had to ditch part of the distributor cap to keep it from hitting the top of the sensor. In the end I made it anyway. It just wasn't easy.
