I don't normally write reviews. My husband needed something to keep the food warm as he is unable to reheat lunch due to the coronavirus. Nobody is allowed to use the microwave. Here are the steps I follow to keep food hot for several hours: I boil water in a large pot at 6am, fill the container with boiling water, and then place the containers in the large pot while it is 10- Continue cooking for 15 minutes. Protocol. At the same time, I heat food in the microwave or in the stove for 3-5 minutes. I pour out the water and put the hot food in containers. The food is still hot at 11:30 when my husband eats it for lunch.
