We only used a few of these as the holes are so large they need to be covered. However, it seems 50/50 if anything works on my husband's work pants. He's pretty rough with them. and the patches themselves are not full of holes. However, they don't stick to his work pants half the time. I'm quite experienced with the application and the process, but we just can't get them to work well for us. Definitely more of a temporary fix than a long term fix. The first patch fell off after two washes. We couldn't reapply it and moved on to another one and it's already coming off. However, the first stayed from day one!
